Swedish high jumper who is the 1987 World Champion and a three-time Olympic medallist. He is the only high jumper to have won medals in more than two Olympics.
He was a member of the Örgryte IS club, a sports club based in Gothenburg.

His brother is Peter Sjöberg. He was married to Renata Rodrigues Cardoso from 2005 to 2013. He had a daughter, Isabelle Sjöberg, in 2000 with Therese Lorentzon.
