American political consultant and trial lawyer who held the position of 79th President of the State Bar of California.
He and his four brothers were born to an American seamstress mother and an Italian immigrant, steelworker father. When he enrolled at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Anthony Capozzi became the first person in his family to attend college.
He campaigned for Walter Mondale and Jimmy Carter and also served on the National Democratic Finance Committee in 1980.
He married Paula Condon in 1978. During the 1980s, the couple became parents to a son and a daughter.
He was appointed in 2010 to the California Commission on Judicial Performance by then-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
